Meet Bianca Younger, IT Support Specialist
We are so excited to welcome Bianca to the Akamai Systems team as an IT Support Specialist with a passion for client support and photography. She currently lives in Littleton, CO with her husband. They met in elementary school and started dating in high school. They are both proud graduates of CSU-Fort Collins.Bianca worked for Geek Squad for seven years through college, and climbed the ranks at multiple Geek Squad locations before joining the life of an onsite, in-home technician. She was the only female in-home computer tech in Colorado for two years. Shortly after leaving Geek Squad, Bianca transitioned into working for a local software company. She quickly realized that work that was not client-facing was not as rewarding, and wanted a job back in field support.
The outdoors has always offered her a break from technology, and she spends most of her weekends and days off taking advantage of Colorado’s hiking trails and campsites, where there’s not any cell service. Hiking and camping with her friends also gives her an opportunity to enjoy another passion of hers, photography. Bianca doesn’t mind trudging through the mud or snow with her friends at 2 AM with only a backpack and a headlamp to find the perfect spot for the perfect photo.
